KUALA LUMPUR – Eksport getah asli Malaysia meningkat 10.2 peratus pada bulan April 2022 kepada 58,755 tan metrik berbanding bulan Mac 2022 (53,328 tan metrik).

Prestasi eksport disumbangkan oleh produk berasaskan getah asli seperti sarung tangan getah, tayar, tiub, benang getah dan kondom.

Produk sarung tangan getah merupakan eksport utama dengan nilai sebanyak RM2.2 billion pada April 2022, meningkat 8.6 peratus berbanding Mac 2022 (RM2.0 billion), kata Jabatan Perangkaan.

China terus kekal sebagai destinasi utama untuk eksport getah asli iaitu berjumlah 39.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan eksport pada April 2022 diikuti Amerika Syarikat (11.3%), Finland (4.5%), Mesir (3.2%) dan Iran (2.5%).

Ketua Perangkawan Malaysia, Dauk Seri Mohd Uzir Mahidin berkata, pengeluaran getah asli menurun 20.0 peratus pada bulan April 2022 (22,498 tan metrik) berbanding pada bulan Mac 2022 (28,106 tan metrik) terutamanya dikaitkan
dengan musim luruh.

Perbandingan tahunan turut menunjukkan penurunan 2.2 peratus (April 2021: 23,013 tan metrik).

Beliau menambah, pengeluaran getah asli Malaysia pada April 2022 disumbangkan terutamanya oleh sektor pekebun kecil (88.1%) berbanding sektor estet (11.9%).

Jumlah stok getah asli pada April 2022 menurun sebanyak 4.1 peratus kepada 297,673 tan metrik berbanding 310,433 tan metrik pada Mac 2022.

Kilang pemproses getah menyumbang stok akhir sebanyak 92.5 peratus diikuti kilang pengguna getah (7.4%) dan estet getah (0.1%).

Menurut beliau, sentimen pasaran getah menurun disumbangkan oleh kerugian dalam pasaran hadapan getah serantau di tengah-tengah kebimbangan kelembapan dalam sekatan ketat Covid-19 di China, konflik Rusia-Ukraine yang berpanjangan, kekurangan cip di peringkat global yang berterusan serta tekanan inflasi. – Malaysia Gazette

KUALA LUMPUR (May 22): Tesla Inc billionaire Elon Musk said the electric vehicle maker is building a hardcore litigation department.

“Tesla is building a hardcore litigation department where we directly initiate & execute lawsuits. The team will report directly to me.

“Please send 3 to 5 bullet points describing evidence of exceptional ability,” he tweeted on Friday (May 20).

Musk also criticised President Joe Biden’s administration and Democrats on Twitter.

He appeared to suggest that Democrats would target him with a smear campaign after he announced that he would vote for Grand Old Party candidates.

“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens — this is their standard (despicable) playbook — but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech,” he tweeted.

Musk was in focus a few days back after SpaceX, the aerospace firm founded by him, allegedly paid a flight attendant US$250,000 to settle a sexual misconduct claim against him in 2018.

In a report on Friday (May 20), German publishing house Axel Springer-owned Business Insider said the attendant worked as a member of the cabin crew on a contract basis for SpaceX’s corporate jet fleet.

Musk has since denied the allegations.

Zuraida Kamaruddin a Malaysian Minister and a strong women advocator condemned the killing of Palestinian-American Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh while covering an Israeli army raid in the occupied West Bank,

Abu Akleh, a star journalist for Al Jazeera, was killed as she covered unrest in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

Abu Akleh, 51, was a household name across the Arab world, synonymous with Al Jazeera’s coverage of life under Israeli rule, which is well into its sixth decade with no end in sight. A 25-year veteran of the satellite channel, she was revered by Palestinians as a local hero.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett initially said that armed Palestinians were “likely” responsible, but Israel has since walked back the allegation and said it was investigating.

கோலாலம்பூர் (ஏப்ரல் 28): உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய பாமாயில் ஏற்றுமதியாளர் படத்தில் இருந்து வெளியேறாத நிலையில், தாவர எண்ணெய்க்கான உலகளாவிய தேவையை மலேசியா பூர்த்தி செய்யும் என்று பெருந்தோட்ட தொழில்கள் மற்றும் பொருட்கள் அமைச்சர் டத்தோ ஜுரைடா கமருடின் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார்.

வியாழன் (ஏப்ரல் 28) முதல் இந்தோனேஷியா பாமாயில் ஏற்றுமதியை நிறுத்தியதைத் தொடர்ந்து, உலகளாவிய விநியோக பற்றாக்குறை பற்றிய கவலை உள்ளது, ஆனால் 
உற்பத்தியை உயர்த்துவதன் மூலம் மலேசியா சர்வதேச தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்ய முடியும் என்று ஜூரைடா உறுதியளித்தார். 
“ஆம், எங்களால் இன்னும் உலகளாவிய தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்ய முடியும், ஏனெனில் எல்லைகள் மீண்டும் திறக்கப்படுவதால், வெளிநாட்டு தொழிலாளர்கள் வருகிறார்கள். எங்களால் உற்பத்தி மற்றும் உற்பத்தியை அதிகரிக்க முடியும், மேலும் [உலகளாவிய சந்தைக்கு] வழங்க முடியும்,” அவர் தனது அம்பாங் நாடாளுமன்றத் தொகுதியில் நடந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்குப் பிறகு செய்தியாளர் சந்திப்பில் கூறினார்.

மற்றொரு விஷயத்தில், அமைச்சர் பணவீக்கம் வரவிருக்கும் பிரச்சினையாக இருக்கலாம், ஏனெனில் இந்தோனேசிய பாமாயில் ஏற்றுமதி தடை, உக்ரைன்-ரஷ்யா மோதலுடன் இணைந்து 
உலகளாவிய தாவர எண்ணெய் விநியோகத்தை பாதிக்கும். 
ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியத்துடன் (EU) மலேசியா எதிர்கொள்ளும் கட்டாயத் தொழிலாளர் தகராறு மற்றும் அமெரிக்கா தீர்க்கப்படாமல் இருப்பதால், கட்டாயத் தொழிலாளர் பிரச்சினைகள் வழங்கல் மற்றும் தேவை நிலைமையை மோசமான நீரில் கொண்டு செல்லக்கூடும்.

Alhamdulillah, the month of Ramadhan is upon us again. So we get to enjoy all kinds of traditional goodies ? But that’s not the only reason we rejoice. Ramadhan is the perfect way of gaining Allah’s pleasure and mercy.

During Ramadan, special prayers called Tarawih are carried out after every Isyak prayers. Tarawih is derived from the Arabic word meaning “to rest and relax”, as righteous people before our time used to rest after every two or four lengthy rakaat.
